Responsibilities
Candidate with hotel management degree & relevant experience. In industrial/corporate catering, with knowledge in bulk meals and HACCP norms may apply.
- Responsible for the effective management and running of catering operations including event planning support, scheduling, preparation and production, inventory, cash control.
- Actively mentoring, training, and helping employees meet company quality standards, and promoting a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Overseeing employees including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling and termination.
- Monitoring compliance with all health regulations for food preparation.
Managing catering and associated events and prepared pricing for events. - Maintaining catering sales accounts by ensuring guest satisfaction before, during, and after the event.
- Ensured that all food and beverage items are presented and served correctly.
- Checking in all catering deliveries and reconcile orders with the catering run sheet.
- Ensuring that communication is constantly maintained between the management team and the catering staff during events, alerting them of any changes in the schedule of service.
- Challenges or adverse comments that may arise during service of the events.
